Why Rice?

Why did you pick rice instead of other popular shochu ingredients such as sweet potato and barley?
We tasted a wide variety of Shochus and selected rice over other ingredients for its light taste. Mujen's rice based Shochu is delicious on its own, but also mixes perfectly in all of the most popular cocktails.
